The Coyotes triumphed over Oklahoma Wesleyan University this past Saturday. The game started as a back and forth battle between the two teams. Both teams came out of the gate hot, with the lead bouncing back and forth many times.
After starting to trail 11-8, the boys stepped it up, going on a 9-0 run. With this run, they were able to get themselves back into the game. Scoring runs by Ran Hill and Jamon Fulton, the Coyotes were able to take over the lead.
Junior Grant Sylvester came out hot, scoring a career-high of 15 points. Which helped, push our Coyotes to their first-ever win over Oklahoma Wesleyan, improving our record to a 10-15 overall record.
Although it seemed we gained control of the game, the Eagles caught up, bringing the lead down to 42-38 at the half.
The Coyotes recovered, controlling the second half only allowing the Eagles to come within nine. They were able to pull off a 90-79 win,
four Coyotes were able to claim double digits in this game. Congratulate the Coyotes with their recent win and wish them luck as they continue with the rest of season play.
