She Said Yes!

They say your time spent at college will be a life-changing experience. It certainly proved to be just that for at least three Coyotes over the weekend, right here on the K-Dub campus. Coyote Alum, Sean Grove was in Salina, helping to judge at the annual Coyote “Border Wars” debate and forensics tournament. He’d brought along his girlfriend for the trip, and unbeknownst to her, planned to ask her a very special question, right next to the Wishing Well outside of Pioneer Hall. As you can see from the video shot by his former football and debate partner, Zack Brown, she said yes. But Reed wasn’t the only Coyote to pop the question over the weekend. During halftime of the Women’s basketball game, head football coach Matt Drinkall asked his girlfriend, Kim Blusher for her hand, and Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach Carolyn Davis was asked by her boyfriend, Jeffrey Jenkins. Best wishes to all the happy couples.
